Terms of use
Last updated 8 October 2026
Draft. This document is being reviewed and may change before Glim launches on the App Store.
These terms are the agreement between you and Fload (Float Technology) [legal entity to confirm] for using Glim, the iPhone app and heyglim.app. By creating an account or using Glim, you agree to them.
1. Glim is a coach, not a doctor
Glim gives general fitness, nutrition, sleep and wellbeing guidance. It is not medical advice and it is not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Bloodwork features explain your results in plain words and point out things to ask a professional about; they are not a diagnosis.
Talk to a doctor before starting a new training or nutrition plan, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, an injury or a history of disordered eating. Stop and get help if something hurts or feels wrong. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
2. AI can be wrong
The coach uses artificial intelligence. Its plans, estimates (for example calories from a photo) and answers can be incomplete or wrong. Use your judgement, check anything important, and adjust or ignore suggestions that don’t suit you. You are responsible for the choices you make.
3. Who can use Glim
You must be at least 16 [age to confirm] and able to agree to these terms. Keep your sign-in details safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account.
4. Your content
You own what you put into Glim: your logs, photos, messages and files. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run Glim for you (and for your partner, as far as you choose to share), as described in the privacy policy. Only upload content you have the right to share.
5. Connected services
Glim can connect to Apple Health, WHOOP, Oura and your calendar. Those services have their own terms and are not run by us. We are not responsible for their availability or the accuracy of their data.
6. Coaching together
If you join a household with a partner, they will see what the app shows partners and what you choose to share. Be kind: cheers, not pressure. You can leave a household at any time.
7. Fair use
Don’t misuse Glim. In particular, don’t:
- break the law, or use Glim to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- try to access other people’s data or our systems without permission;
- overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the service;
- use the AI coach to produce content that is illegal or harmful.
8. Price
Glim is free while it is in testing. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you the price and what you get before you are charged, and purchases will go through the App Store [to confirm].
9. Changes and availability
Glim is being built and will change. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using Glim and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law stops us.
11. Liability
Glim is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injury or harm resulting from following suggestions without using your own judgement or professional advice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer. [Liability wording and caps to confirm.]
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to confirm], without affecting your mandatory consumer rights where you live.
